We speak with them about what kind of education the parents want for their child. We hear about the student’s academic history, their learning needs and importantly their strengths and interests so we can begin to build a profile of the student to inform the next stage.
Using our knowledge of the schools, we match the student profile with a selection of suitable school options. We provide detailed school profiles and associated school fees for review. We advise and consult throughout this selection process. Some families wish to travel to Ireland and visit the schools in person before a decision is made. We set up appointments with the School Principals on behalf of the families and accompany the families to the schools to make the necessary introductions.
We administer all the paperwork and manage the process from school application until confirmation of placement. Each school has different procedures and we act as the liaison between families and schools to ensure a smooth placement. We will send you the registration forms for those schools who are interested. Once you have returned the forms to us with a registration fee payable to the school, we wait to hear if the student has been accepted.
We also ensure the family receives all the information they need (school booklist, uniform list, extra-curricular programme, school calendar, school policies etc.) to ensure a seamless educational experience.
Students attending a day school can stay with one of our caring host families, who are experienced and police-vetted. We aim to place our students with families associated with the school they are attending, as in our experience, this is a critical factor in the success of the placement. Students attending Boarding School benefit from a full immersive educational experience and we can act as your liaison in this regard.
